All my life I have been a big art buff choosing pen & ink or pencil over other forms of art. For almost 20 years I have enjoyed painting D&D figurines and creating other 3d items for role-playing and war games.
Recently I found altering magic cards to be just as rewarding. A few years ago I began selling my alterations on ebay with lots of success and have altered over 100 cards. Visit my gallery for examples of my work.
Please take a moment to check out my ebay store as well as the items I have on my for sale page. I post new items to ebay usually on Monday and Thursday nights. All items will be listed here until they are posted for auction. First come first served on all items for sale!

All cards have been altered using high quality acrylic paints and sealed with a clear coat finish to protect the art. The sealant is acid-free and non yellowing, so the altered card will last for the life of the rest of your collection.
Note: It is recommended to use some sort of protective sleeve when playing Magic the Gathering with any card especially altered cards as the finish will wear faster than printed faces.
Additionally, some cards will show some leakage (not bleeding through, but over the edges) on the reverse side (mostly the murals) from the painting process. I have taken several steps to prevent this, however once dry, removing the paint sometimes causes undue wear to remove. I suggest just using sleeves with solid backs to prevent anyone from mistaking the card as marked. |
