Basic lands are basic lands! These items are usually stacked in some order and tapped as needed. Most of the time only the card's title is seen... What would seeing the rest of the card accomplish? ...but who am I? Okay so here are the official altered card rulings:
"The Head Judge is the final authority regarding card interpretations. See the DCI Floor Rules for the appropriate game for more detailed rules regarding how cards should be interpreted. If the Head Judge determines that a player is using non-English-language cards and/or misprints to create an advantage by using misleading text or artwork, that player will be subject to the appropriate provisions of the DCI Penalty Guidelines."
...vague at best!
So... here is a great article written on Wizards website on how to handle such clearifications:
A Practical Approach to Handling Altered Cards by, Claire Dupré

NOTE: they did not specifically rule out murals... though pushing the rules a bit, the casual player should feel free to show them off! (and send them to my site.)
Remember, your head judge holds the final decision, and all the power. I suggest buying one additional card when ordering to give (buy him/her off) when going to your next sanctioned event... They will be swayed! </jk>
